Christmas Wreaths - A Festive Accent Piece

Do you like a Christmas Wreath or a Christmas Tree?

This is the time of year when I seem to sell out of Christmas tree pins.  I just can't seem to keep them in stock. But there is another type of Christmas jewelry that also attracts buyers as well - Christmas Wreath Pins.

We all use them to decorate our doors during the holiday season. Why not decorate our jacket lapels with them too?  Christmas wreath pins come in an array of colors and sizes.   You can get enamel designs for a daytime look or add a little bit of glitz with rhinestones in a more dazzling style.

Here are a few of my favorite Christmas wreath pins:

Dazzling red and green rhinestone design in silver tone metal.  One of my best sellers!

This pretty style has a small candle in the inside.  I love the navette shaped rhinestones.

This pretty style from Coro features a circle of pale blue rhinestones inside the outer wrapping.  Just delightful!

Here is another pretty candle style but this time in enamel.  Perfect for a daytime look.

This interesting Christmas wreath design can't seem to figure out whether it wants to be green, red or orange...and  a lop side bow to boot.  For someone who likes to think outside the box.

For my full range of Christmas wreath pins, please see Vintage Jewelry Lane.

What is your favorite style of Christmas pin?  Do you prefer trees or Christmas wreaths?

Great Jewelry Ideas for Stocking Stuffers

Every time I realize that Christmas is almost here, I can't believe how fast the year has gone.  Each year, I seem to say something similar, but this one seems almost a blur in many ways.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I actually did manage to have a day last week where I took advantage of an early sale.  I am by no means done, but I did put a dent in the upcoming chore.

Here are some photos of some of Christmas inspired jewelry items.  You can click on any of the images to go to the store for more details.

What is Christmas Without a Candy Cane?

Statistics say that most of us gain a few pounds over the Christmas holidays each year. In the next few weeks, many of us will be baking and eating sweets of all sorts, so I thought it would be fun to feature some of my cute candy cane Christmas pins. Perhaps one of them would be just the sweet treat for you - minus the calories of course.

Christmas brooches come in a wide variety of designs and one of the most popular style is the candy cane. These are made in a myriad of designs and materials - with the most popular being enamel and rhinestone designs.

Most of the major vintage jewelry designers included them in their range of designs, and contemporary designers seem to come up with new ideas for the motif each year.

Here are a few for you to choose from. Each of my online stores also has a larger range of styles. One of them is sure to make a cute stocking stuffer or even a present to yourself! You can click the pictures for more details and additional photos. Prices range from $8.99 to $16.99.

Now you can enjoy your Christmas sweet with never a fear of gaining those unwanted holiday pounds!

Just in Time for the Holiday Season - a New Line of Christmas Jewelry From Gerry's Jewelry

This year is a blur to me. It has flown by so quickly and here we are in autumn again with Christmas just around the corner. Every year, as I get older, the years seem to go by more quickly!

I've just purchased a new collection of Christmas jewelry from the designer Gerry's. This company was founded in the 1950s by Geraldine Giles and closed its doors in 2001. The company was founded in New York, but moved later to Folcroft, Pennsylvania.

Their designs were often small metal figural pins, and especially Christmas pins, which were decorated with enamel and rhinestones. Gerry's jewelry has always been collected by those who collect vintage Christmas jewelry, but the pieces may now start to rise in value, since the company is no longer in business.

Here are a few choices. You can view more of these Christmas jewelry pieces at my Vintage jewelry Lane and Vintage Jewelry Mall sites and at my Finishing Touch Vintage Jewelry store on Ruby Lane. Prices range from $8.99 to about $18, so they will make cute and inexpensive Christmas gifts.

Some of the pins that I have in my stores are from unsold dealer stock and have never been worn, so they would make great stocking stuffers. Other's are some older Gerry's vintage Christmas pins, including some book pieces. Here are a few choices from the collection:

You can click the pictures for more details and photos or follow the links above to view the whole collection. Beat the rush by starting your Christmas shopping early. You will get the best choices and avoid the rush in December!

It's Christmas In July with Christmas Brooches and Christmas Tree Pins

I've noticed just recently that I am getting a lot of sales from my online stores with a Christmas theme. I guess that some customers really do adhere to the practice of doing their Christmas shopping in July. It makes perfect sense. There is always a good range this time of the year before the styles have been picked over and it makes budgeting in December much easier if a lot of the shopping has already been done.

Christmas jewelry was made by most of the well known vintage designers and contemporary jewelry designers bring out new lines every year. There is a wide variety of choices available, but the most popular style seems to be brooches or pins with various Christmas motifs.

Particularly chosen styles include the ever popular Christmas tree pin. This style of brooch comes in a myriad of materials and designs and is one of my biggest sellers in the months of November and December.

Here are a few pretty Christmas Jewelry choices for you to consider if you like to get your Christmas shopping done early. Just click any of the pictures for more details. Prices range from $7.99 to $50.00.
