If you have been reading my blog lately, you will know that I mention the colors teal and turquoise a lot. The colors are very hot this year and I can't keep them in stock. And from the looks of sales, it appears that the popularity of the colors isn't going to go away any time soon.
I joined a networking group on Facebook that has a bunch of the neatest ladies. The group is called Networking Together and everyone promotes each others shops and blogs.
I thought it would be fun to promote some of their teal and turquoise colored items. Just click any of the items to go to their sites. Have fun window shopping, or shopping for real!
If you love the colors as much as we do, be sure to see what else these ladies have to offer! Just click on any picture and you can go to that item and then follow through to their stores.
Happy window shopping!
If you buy or collect vintage or contemporary costume jewelry, you will love the advice found here on hot trends, designer information, and general jewelry gossip. Your comments are always welcome.

My Daughter Jess Brings the Latest European Fashion Trends to This Blog
Those of you who have been to my Facebook page know that my daughter Jess has left the US today to travel to Great Britain. She will be at Hull University studying until about Christmas.
Before she left, I spoke to her about all of the social networking that I have been doing lately on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google + and other sites. Jess came up with a great idea for my blog and which should delight my readers.
Jess is very interested in fashion and has a really keen eye for what is up to the minute in the latest trends. She volunteered to do some blog postings for my blog while she is away about the current fashion trends in all parts of Great Britain and Europe.
This should be starting very soon, and I will keep you updated as it all unfolds. I'm very excited that she wants to help her mom out with the blog and look forward to the insights that she will bring us.
She is an avid user of Pinterest and has several boards there mainly about fashion, cooking and household decoration. I expect that number to soar and she finds interesting things to add to my blog and to her Pinterest favorites boards.
I'm eagerly awaiting her photos of fashion trends to see how they compare to the ones that are current here in the USA.
Right now she is en route from Washington, DC and will arrive in the UK at noon tomorrow. Check back soon to see what she has to share. I, for one, can't wait!

Do you like Gardening? Check out my new blog
Readers of my blog know that I love to share information and my experiences about vintage jewelry. But most of you may not know that my other passion in life is gardening. I just can't get enough of it.
It's been on the back burner for many years as life's demand took the forefront, but has come back with a vengeance this past spring and summer and is here to stay.
I've started writing about my efforts, some great, some not so great, and many quite amusing, in my new blog called The Week Long Gardener.
If you love gardening, or think it might be something you might want to start doing, but sure to have a look at my blog. It is meant to be light hearted, but will also have lots of tips and tricks about all things gardening. Perhaps we can share stories and get to know each other better.
You can view the first posting of the my new gardening blog here. I hope to be able to find the time to write to it quite often.
Off to dig in the dirt!
