Skinners Fine Jewelry Auction - March 12

My Favorites from Skinners Fine Jewelry Auction

The March auction features over 500 lots and includes a fine group of antique and period jewelry as well as contemporary jewelry by Tiffany, Cartier, and David Webb. Highlight of the auction is an Edwardian enamel and carved agate desk clock made by Cartier Paris in the early 20th century, which is coming to market for the first time since its purchase.

As usual the jewelry is exquisite.  I had a lovely time looking over all of the lots and had a hard time choosing favorites.

Here are some of my personal favorites.

18kt Gold, Carved Hardstone, and Diamond Flower Brooch and Earclips

18kt Gold and Madeira Citrine Ring

Multi-strand Cultured Pearl Bracelet

18K Gold and Green Tourmaline Brooch, set with fancy cut tourmaline gemstone

14kt Gold and Smoky Quartz Bracelet

Sterling Silver Cuff, Mario Buccellati

Jugendstil Silver and Coral Pendant

Sterling Silver, Malachite, and Lapis Brooch, Kay Bojesen

Antique 18kt Gold and Hardstone Cameo Brooch

You can view the whole auction catalog on this page of the Skinner Auction site.
