Social networking for businesses has been the catch phrase for some time now. Anyone who sells online knows that Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and Pinterest, as well as a blog are very important tools in a marketing approach for their business.
Up until recently, social networking was something that I dabbled in, but it wasn't a big part of my overall plan. All of that changed when I recently joined a very motivated group of sellers on Facebook who cross promote each other on all of the social networks.
It has been a learning curve for me, but I am starting to see the benefits of networking, and believe that it has meant more sales and followers of my business on all the social platforms.
Is networking something that you would like to do but don't know how? Are you the type of person who is motivated and likes to learn new business tips and tricks? Are you prepared to put a bit of time into a group that is supportive, even though it might take some time to learn?
If so, my Facebook networking group might be just the one for you. It
is called Networking Together. The group requires a Facebook account
and approval from the moderators, but we are always looking for new,
motivated members. If you have a Facebook fan page (and if you don't,
why not? They are a great marketing tool...) that is even better, since
it will be promoted by the group.
Recognize these symbols? We promote, on a daily basis, to all platforms. And as a special promotion, once a week we choose one member of the group and all members promote this special person. I was chosen last week, and was truly honored by, and grateful for, the support.
