How to Find Out Who Pins Your Content

Anyone who is active in social networking knows that Pinterest is a very popular site.  It's fun and is used every day by thousands of people.

Have you ever wondered who pins content from your personal website or blog though?  I know I have.  I just discovered a way to find out.

Use the following URL http://pinterest.com/source/YourSite.com/.

In the place where it says YourSite.com, put in the name of your site.  So in my case it would be the following:

http://pinterest.com/source/collectingvintagejewelry.blogspot.com/

Just a heads up so you don't do what I did for about an hour.  This info only works for websites and blogs.  If it is a store, you have to own the domain. It won't work for your Pinterest page itself or for stores hosted by Bonanza, Ruby Lane. Ebay, Etsy or Ruby Plaza.   It will work if the last part of the URL ends in .com.

However, in Pinterest, at the top right, there is a section that says who re-pinned you.

This will give you an idea of what sort of thing you write about or list for sale and whether it's popularly getting pinned at Pinterest.
