American Idol Jewelry Gifts from Paula Abdul

Paula Abdul doesn't like to see those departing the American Idol show go home empty handed. Even though there are no record deals for the contestants who don't continue on with the show, they do leave with some pretty baubles.

Abdul has been designing jewelry ever since the first season of American Idol in 2002. Once Paula saw what the contestants had to endure from Simon Cowell, she decided to do something nice for them. As she says "I wanted something the kids could touch and feel to remind themselves that their talent got them here."

Her jewelry line - Forever Your Girl - is now available from HSN. The line also features handbags and other accessories as well as jewelry. Prices range from $29 to about $200. The piece shown her is her Signature Bling Cuff Bracelet with Pavé detail.

Tune in on January 13 for the new season of American Idol.
